Hon. John Ajaka
Former Minister for Disability Services, NSW
The Hon. John Ajaka began his career in law in 1982 and joined the NSW Parliament in 2007. Known for his advocacy for disability rights, he served as Minister for Disability Services, Ageing, Volunteering, and Multiculturalism from 2013 to 2017.\n
During his tenure, John introduced the Disability Inclusion Act and led the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in NSW. He served as President of the NSW Legislative Council from 2017 to 2021 and now leads initiatives in health and disability advocacy.
