Simon Cant is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Reinventure. Founded in 2013,Reinventure is a Founder-First Corporate Venture Fund with $150m under management,with Westpac as the primary investor.To date, Reinventure has invested in over 30companies which areprimarilyfocused on Fintech and adjacent areas.Simon led a numberof those investments including their 2015 investment in Coinbaseand 2019 investment inImmutable.
Simon also founded and wastheinaugural President of FinTech Australia, the industry’speak representativebody.
Simon has built his careeraroundventure and innovation. He was a founding team memberat Social Ventures Australia, Tinshed Angel Group, ninemsn and Austlii. Simon began hiscareer as a solicitor with Allens.
