Speakers:
Michael Sharpe – Chairman of the Sharpe Family Office
Michael is the National Director for Industry at the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre. He has vast industrial experience and has been recognised for his service to industry, community groups, and the arts through charitable support. He is a Director of the Sharpe Family Office.
Michael has been involved with a range of industry including infrastructure, health & medical research and manufacturing. He is an advocate for the future of energy in Australia and aims to boost skills and manufacturers efforts for access to global supply chains in the nuclear industry.
He serves on a range of Australian initiatives including as a Steering Committee Member of the Sustainable Communities and Waste Hub, part of the Australian Government’s National
Environmental Science Program, and at the University of New South Wales as a Member of the Industry Advisory Network for the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering within the Nation’s number one faculty for engineering.
Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders; a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Arts, Manufactures & Commerce; and has completed executive education in the Leadership Initiative at Harvard Business School.
Peter Xing – Global Singularity Group educator and practitioner on transhumanism and emerging technologies
Peter is a Global Singularity Group educator and practitioner on transhumanism and emerging technologies. He is the co-founder of Transhumanism Australia and Transhuman Coin, and leads global emerging technology initiatives at KPMG, including generative AI, blockchain, web3 and extended reality.
